PCI Compliance

PCI Compliance

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) defines a series of guidelines that anyone involved with the processing, transmission, or storage of card data must comply. PCI compliance is a shared responsibility and applies to both Liquido and your business, therefore when accepting payments, you must do so in a PCI compliant manner.

How do you know if you need to be PCI compliant?

Your PCI level depends on how you capture and manage the credit card data from your end-customers. Most likely, i) if you are using a third party provider as Liquido, and ii) processing fewer than 6 million transactions per scheme (Visa, MasterCard) per year; you should perform a PCI compliance Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ):

If your systems: SAQ required:
Touch, process or store cardholder data SAQ D
Do not touch, process or store cardholder data SAQ A
